Loose Squares Zine is a handbound magazine that puts an emphasis on midwest skateboarding, music, graffiti , and some wild stories. The origin of this zine was Corey came up to CDOT at a skatepark handed him a pack of smokes and said, "I wanna make a zine with you." CDOT opened the pack to find it was full of polaroids in it, He said, "I know exactly what to call it, Loose Squares Zine." They made the 1st issue for a skate video premiere, that little 16pg zine, that was mostly compiled of photos, drawings and some random words, sold out that night. After that the zines grew in length and content. With the team now comprised of 4 people, Brett Hartwell and Ryan Sweeney came in shortly after. They're goal is to share and grow these midwest communities as much as possible with within every issue. The midwest deserves its time in the sun.
